The foundation of the new hall of Eczacıbaşı Sports Club was laid

The foundation of Eczacıbaşı Sports Club's new arena has been laid. As pioneers and record holders in women's volleyball in Turkey, Eczacıbaşı Sports Club initiated the construction of their new sports arena. The new arena, to be built on Eczacıbaşı Group's land in Kartal, will have a capacity of 4,000 spectators. Designed by Yazgan Architecture and meeting international standards, the new facility will feature three training courts, ten accommodation rooms with two beds each for infrastructure, as well as administrative and social areas, physiotherapy and fitness sections, a cafeteria, dining halls, and athlete relaxation areas. The project, with a total construction area of approximately 25,000 square meters, will be built in accordance with economic and environmental sustainability principles, prioritizing energy efficiency and using environmentally friendly materials.


Faruk Eczacıbaşı, the President of Eczacıbaşı Sports Club, stated that they laid the foundation for a social investment that will carry the club's legacy of nearly 60 years to future generations. He mentioned, "In our new arena equipped with modern technology, our athletes will have the best training opportunities. With comfortable seating areas and a structure that provides the best viewing angle for matches, our new facility will offer a different experience for volleyball spectators. I believe that this new facility will provide new opportunities for the development of our young athletes."
