In our rescheduled 18th week match, the team fell 3-1 to Fenerbahçe Opet.
Fenerbahçe Opet made a quick start to the match, leading 25-13 in the first set.
Tigers fell 25-17 in the second set as home team Fenerbahçe Opet kept on their control over the game.
Coming out stronger in the third set, the Orange and Whites took the lead with the help of Tijana Boskovic. Also, Beyza Arıcı’s blocks belong to the highlights of the third set which we won by 25-21. The team scored a total of 5 blocks in the third set.
The fourth set began with Yasemin Güveli’s consecutive serves. With the help of Saliha Şahin’s attacks the team managed to lead 12-9 before we head to the technical timeout. Yet Fenerbahçe Opet came back and finished the derby in four sets.
On our next match we will play against Sarıyer Belediyespor next Wednesday, January 20, on home soil.
