Tigers defeat CSM Volei Alba Blaj in three sets in the 2nd Leg of the CEV Cup semi final match and qualify for the Finals.
Throughout the whole match, Tigers showed a dominant performance with the help of team captain Tijana Boskovic's contribution of 14 points. Boskovic has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match. On the other hand Beyza Arıcı, McKenzie Adams and Saliha Şahin scored 7, 9 and 11 points, respectively.
About today's victory, Head Coach Ferhat Akbaş said, "I am really happy that we are in the final in the CEV Cup. I think we play our home games really strong, especially in attack. Today we reached to 70% attack percentage, we played with some really good percentages. The thing that makes me happy the most is that our young players did a very good job. We finished the match by 3-0 and now we wait for our opponent in the final. We had a very tough schedule. We had many trips and games in the past week. I am really happy that we won."
Reflecting on the match, middle blocker Beyza Arıcı said, "First of all I’m very happy, congratulations to all my teammates. We are playing at a very intense time, our schedule is very tight, I am very happy that we won the semi-final match. A difficult process is ahead us, we will have final matches. The hall was full today as well, we are waiting for all our fans to our next matches.
