Tigers claims another home win

Competing in the 2024 CEV Champions League Group B, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit defeated Bulgarian representative Maritza Plovdiv at home with set scores of 25-19, 25-.

While both teams started the first set of the match effectively, the orange and white team took the lead from the middle of the set and won the set 25-19. There has been some nice rallies in the first set where Eczacıbaşı Dynavit brought the score to 1-0.

Rotating in the second set, the orange and white team won the set 25-20 with consecutive points by their blocks and effective serves, making the score 2-0. Outside hitter Yaprak Erkek came to the fore in the set with her 5 attack points.

Continuing their dominance in the last set, the orange and white team won the set 25-19 and the match 3-0, getting their third victory in the CEV Champions League. With the 10 points she scored, Spiker Yaprak Erkek was chosen as the most valuable player of the match. Irina Voronkova and Hande Baladın played an important role in winning the match with the 10 points they scored. Eczacıbaşı Dynavit players achieved 10 blocks and 7 serves.
