Expressing his views before the match, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit Head Coach Ferhat Akbaş said, “Scandicci away match will be a match that will determine the shape of our Champions League group. We think we prepared very well. Our opponent is a strong team that plays good volleyball. But we will do our best to be the victorious side,” he said.
On the other hand, Canadian spiker Alexa Gray said, “I am very excited to return to Italy again. I think I am used to the field and the atmosphere in Italy. We are aware that Scandicci is a strong team. I am very excited to play against this strong team. This match will be a great advantage for us to show our strength on the field.
