The Orange and Whites grab three points in the 25th match week, defeating Türk Hava Yolları 3-1 in away court.
Türk Hava Yolları came out stronger in the first set (25-17).
The Tigers managed to come back stronger in the second set through a 7-1 streak at the beginning of the set. With the help of our libero Simge Aköz’s defensive efforts, the team managed to resist well againist Türk Hava Yolları and finished the second set 25-19.
Hande Baladın who carried her team both defensively and offensively in the third set scored 4 attack points. With the help of Baladın, the team won the set comfortably by 25-18.
Keeping our collective performance in the fourth set despite all efforts of our opponent, the team didn’t give a chance to Türk Hava Yolları and finished the match by 3-1.
The best scorer of the match is Tijana Boskovic by 21 points.
In the 26th match week, we will be hosting Galatasaray HDI Sigorta next Saturday, January 30, on home soil.
