Finishing regular season in third place and thus claiming a spot in the playoffs, the Tigers will strive for grabbing two wins in their semifinal matchup against Fenerbahçe Opet.
Reflecting on the season so far, team captain Simge Aköz says that her team had some hard times due to the coronavirus pandemic yet they managed to come back strong each time. Aköz adds, “We came out from an intense league schedule. The playoffs are ahead now and we are trying to prepare for it in the best possible way as whole team. Fenerbahçe is a strong team which we played against many times during this season. Both teams know each other well. We will try to give our best to win and proceed to the Finals.”
