The second week of the VNL 2019 has started today with the Turkish National Team and Team USA sharing the first place after claiming both three victories last week.
The Sultans of the Net, who have displayed a stunning performance last week with Hande carrying the team in all three games and libero Simge defending the court successfully against Serbia, will host Japan, Germany and Russia in Ankara this week. Young middle blocker Yasemin will also take part in this round.
Having become the second best attacker of the VNL opening week, Tijana doesn’t compete at Week 2 with the Serbian National Team.
Natália joins Brazil at Week 2, playing her 2019 VNL opening match against Netherlands today.
Experienced players Kim, Carli and Lauren don’t participate at Week 2.
