About Meliha İsmailoğlu
Meliha İsmailoğlu was born in Bosnia Herzegovina in 1993 and started playing volleyball at the age of eight. Before becoming a Turkish citizen and joining the national team as a striker, she played for clubs in Bosnia Herzegovina, where she was named “Best Striker of the Year” in 2009 and 2011. In Turkey, İsmailoğlu’s teams have won two Turkey League Championships, three National Cup Championships, and a bronze in the European Champions League Championship. As a member of Turkey’s national team, she won gold medals at the 2014 European League Championship and 2015 European Games Championship and a silver at the 2015 U23 World Championship. In 2018, she has won a silver medal with the Turkish National Team in the FIVB Volleyball Nations League.

She joined Eczacıbaşı VitrA in the 2017-2018 season, and won the 2018 CEV Cup. In 2018-2019 season, she has won the Spor Toto Champions Cup and a bronze medal in the 2018 FIVB Club World Championship so far.
