Building our roster for the 2021-2022 season, the Club have transferred the Belgian middle blocker Laura Heyrman.
Having played in Belgium, Japan and Italy throughout her career, experienced middle blocker Heyrman will play for the Tigers starting with the 2021-2022 season. Last season, she won the CEV Cup as she played for Saugella Monza.
Sharing her excitement about playing with her new team mates, Heyrman said: “It is a great honor for me to play in Turkey for Eczacıbaşı VitrA. I am looking forward to enjoy every moment that I will spend with my team mates on the field and to embrace new achievements together. I send my greetings to the Eczacıbaşı family, our team and all our fans.”
About Laura Heyrman
Born in 1993, Belgian volleyball player Laure Heyrman plays as a middle blocker.
Heyrman started her professional volleyball career in 2009 with the Belgian team Asterix Kieldrecht. She then played for Dresdner (2012-2013), Liu Jo Modena (2013-2016), River Volley Piacenza (2016-2018), Hitachi Rivale (2018-2019) and Saugella Monza (2019-2021). Also playing for the Belgian National Team, Heyrman won a bronze in the U18 World Championship and a gold in the U18 European Championship with her Youth National Team.
