Over the next three years, the Eczacıbaşı Chess Team won the National Championship in the First League (2003, 2004 and 2005).
In 2006, it finished in second place. In 2004 and 2005, the Eczacıbaşı Chess Team also represented Turkey successfully in the European Club Cup tournament. In 2007, the Eczacıbaşı Sports Club disbanded its chess team with the aim of refocusing all of its resources on the women’s volleyball team.
