Eczacıbaşı VitrA arrived in Ankara for the Spor Toto Champions Cup, which will be against VakıfBank.
Going through an intense schedule since the arrival of our players, who were in charge for their national teams, Eczacıbaşı VitrA Volleyball Team continues its preparation for the Spor Toto Champions Cup in Ankara.
Our Head Coach Marco Motta shares his thoughts about the 2018-2019 season debut of Eczacıbaşı VitrA: “Starting with the game on Wednesday, this coming season will be a very long one. We will play 50 matches in almost 5-6 months. This first match is very important to show our best. However, some players have joined after their national team season finished and that’s why both teams are not ready yet. But I think we can play a good game. We prepare in the best possible way to do that.“
The Oranges and Whites have won this cup, which was known as the Champions Cup before, twice, in 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 seasons.
The derby between Eczacıbaşı VitrA and VakıfBank will take place on October 31, Wednesday at 6.30 pm in the Turkish capital Ankara’s Başkent Volleyball Hall. The game will be live streamed on TRT Spor.
