Eczacıbaşı Dynavit Secures Ticket to AXA Sigorta Kupa Voley Final!
In the AXA Sigorta Kupa Voley Women’s semifinal held in İzmir, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit faced VakıfBank and defeated their opponent 3-2 with set scores of 25-18, 25-27, 25-22, 25-18, and 15-10, earning their spot in the final.
In the first set of the semifinal match, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit maintained their dominance and won the set 25-18, thanks to 6 attack points and 1 block point by Tijana Boskovic, taking a 1-0 lead.
In a fiercely contested second set, the orange-and-white team continued to deliver strong attacks, finding effective plays with Jovanna Stevanovic. However, their opponent managed to take the set 27-25, leveling the score.
With successful game organization and strong attacks, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit broke the tie by winning the third set 25-22, moving ahead 2-1.
Although Eczacıbaşı Dynavit continued to battle throughout the fourth set and occasionally held the lead, they lost the set 25-18 to their opponent, making the score 2-2.
In the decisive fifth set, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit delivered powerful attacks and won the set 15-10, securing the match 3-2 and earning a place once again in the AXA Sigorta Kupa Voley Women’s final.
Team captain Tijana Boskovic became the top scorer of the match with 25 points, while Kathryn Boden played a significant role in the victory with 11 points. Eczacıbaşı Dynavit players totaled 18 blocks and 5 service points in the match.
The AXA Sigorta Kupa Voley Final will be played on Saturday, April 5, at 16:00 at the İzmir Halkapınar Sports Complex, where Eczacıbaşı Dynavit will face Fenerbahçe Medicana in the grand final.
