On the second day of the DevelopRes Cup, Eczacıbaşı VitrA lost 3-2 (27-25, 17-25, 27-25, 18-25, 15-13) against the German team Dresdner SC.
In the first set, where the spectators enjoyed exciting rallies, the German team won 27-25. Eczacıbaşı VitrA won the second set 25-17, where the young middle blocker Merve Atlıer, who has advanced to the Senior Team only at the beginning of this season, displayed a stunning block performance. Despite the powerful attacks of Gözde Yılmaz in the third set, which was won 27-25 by Dresdner, the Oranges and Whites' performance in the fourth set tied the game by 2-2. Leading the tie-break 15-13, Dresdner won the game 3-2.
